A very nice tactical pen! Lightweight and strong. I now have four of them! Thanks!
David R.
Quality is high and writes great.
Ch C.
Excellent pen. I have the Rebel as well. Quality stuff for sure!
G C.
I highly recommend the Pen. It takes a beating and keeps on writing, as any high-quality pen should, with the added tactile features. Feels comfortable in your hand, and you get regular, strong, precise, and clean writing. Great design that makes the pen refill easy to load and replace.
James L.
The pen is well made, writes smoothly, but I'm not a fan of the way the body flares at the bottom, I prefer a uniform shape the whole length.
Rochelle G.
Been meaning tomourchase a glass breaking device in case of an emergency. This tactical pen is so compact, multifuntional and gives me a sense of security, not to mention the comfortable grip and ease in writing. Not only love this pen, but a great company! Lots of great survival products for those on my Christmas list this year! I have my son Zach to thank for sharing your website with me. He's one of your testers.

It's sturdy and well built, however there are minor issues that prevent me to give 5 stars.
1 - The little edges at the end of the pen get easily stuck in the pocket or any piece of cloth you are wearing with the risk of tearing it.
2 - The silicon cap is quite good to stay in place, but it can fall off in case of some movement you do with your pen in your pocket.
These are minor issues for sure and the pen is well built and kinda fancy, a lot of people asked me what kind of pen was it.
CASEY M.
The pen feels nice in my hand but there is a huge flaw with the pen. That is, there is no cap to go on the end. This is a huge issue, seeing as the end of the pen has sharp prongs. You can't put it in your pocket without it ripping a hole in your pocket. Not to mention, it's easy to accidentally poke yourself, since the sharp tip is not protected. I do like that it takes Parker style G2 refills, though. This pen would be a perfect 5 stars if it weren't for the issue with the exposed sharp tip.
William F.
An awesome tactical pen! It is lightweight and sturdy.
I like the silicone cap that covers the glass breaker. it will not come off too easily due to the hexagonal shape of the nut fastening the glass breaker to the pen, and the internal hexagonal shape of the silicone cap will keep it from rotating and twisting.
Also, the cap is very thick and will protect the thumb well when placed on the cap. the bolt action is smooth and is the best type of action for a tactical pen. A lot of thought went into the design of this pen.
S W.
It’s light and feels good in the hand. Unfortunately just can’t use it to replace current pen as it’s carried in my front pocket and the so called ‘DNA’ tip catches inside the jeans or trouser vs pocket. It’s not cheap so a bit disappointed.
Richard D.
This is my first tactical pen and I'm very impressed. I did a bit of research before buying. This pen passed all my criteria. Non-threatening look, sturdy, and writes well. It doesn't scream weapon in my pocket. The only thing I would change are the prongs on the writing tip in favor of a solid circle with a back bevel. I think it would be just as effective, even more stealthy, and stronger.
Another plus, this pen will accept Rite in the Rain refills which I prefer to the Space pen. They don't get gunky at the writing tip as the Space pen does.
Customer service is fantastic! I somehow bent one of the prongs on the tip in my briefcase. Upon sending them a picture, they replaced it promptly.

I am very happy with my new tactical pen, from the packaging, to the great design and feel in my hand to a pen that writes smooth!!
God job Atomic Bear!
Zhilin S.
It great invention for safety. I like it is pen too.
Olaf B.
Indeed, this pen is close to being perfect. One thing is from my point of view unnecessary, though. That's the serrated tip of the pen. It might be a certain risk for your clothes when carried inside a pocket... And maybe not only for your clothes. Imagine that pen inside of a jeans pocket and bend in an unfortunate angle. Further, how to explain this shape an "interested" security guy that's just a pen? At least if you would round the serration a bit it was still a serration but not that edged and sharp anymore. And it will not look that aggressive anymore, rather like a special design. Best regards, Olaf
GRAHAM H.
Hi, I just received the pen. It's so lightweight yet rigid. A perfect stealth tool. Many thanks guys!
Julian T.
The Stealth Pen Pro feels good in the hand, writes and operates nicely with a satisfying bolt action. The notched teeth around the writing tip will serve their purpose well when called upon. The grooves in the body improve the grip whatever the use. The protective silicone cap pops off easily when getting ready to use the glass breaker. This is a solid well balanced instrument. Well done.
Jonathan M.
Love the pen! We got this as a gift for our son on his 18th birthday and can't say enough about it. He carries it everywhere in his pocket. He really likes how it feels and writes, the clicking mechanism and the potential for self-defense. I love the video training that comes with it teaching him how to use it for self-defense and knowing that he has it with him for that extra measure of safety!
Paul W.
Very happy with my purchase, very good quality tactical pen
Julio J.
I love this tactical pen. It's very lightweight and the length is just right for shirt pocket or jean pocket. The bolt action is fidgety fun and it also writes very well.
Ken O.
Great design, beautiful to hold in hand.
Michael M.
really nice quality pen, gave this one to my daughter so will be ordering a couple more.
Craig S.
Quality pen, it is actually much better than expected. Solid build you will not be sorry.
Bob W.
Quality crafted pen...very lightweight, too! Had some concerns about the tactical tip wearing holes in my pocket, and purchased a leather holder, which of course, defeats speedy accessibility. But, still give it 5 stars.
Karl-Eric T.
Perfect and strong
Mark B.
Quality product with a simple design. This pen fits perfectly in my EDC kit. It’s exactly what I wanted in a tactical pen. Atomic Bear hit a home run with the Stealth Pen!
Ed
Exactly what I was searching for. Good grip, writes pretty well. #1
Sherman C.
It’s a tactical pen that writes well. The key is that unlike other tactical pens it does not look like a weapon and can get passed airport security without issues. It’s also light weight and easy to grip. This is now my everyday pen.
Greg Y.
Love the weight and shorter length of this pen.
Jeff H.
I love the feel of the pen. It writes smoothly sand in any position. I wanted a pen that would write no matter which way it was held. It’s solid, and fits well in the hand. The ridges on the point end catch on pockets that are mesh so you have be careful putting it into that type pocket. The clip has not bent out of shape. It holds firm. I am well pleased with my pen.
Atreyu A.
Comfortable grip, sturdy, writes well, cool design.
Donald A.
Seems like a very nice pen. I've only used it to write a handful of times so far and haven't had to stab anyone yet but I am positive that it would do the job quite nicely if I ever need it.
Glenn C.
The pen has been Great and I thought it would be hard to carry but it clips in nice and is easy to use. I thought the three spikes would get in the way of using it but so far no problems and it’s not overtly big so it cancels easy.
patch0425@gmail.com C.
Pen's great. Only gripe is the tip thats for "dna" retrieval. Makes it harder to keep in my pants.
Rhet C.
So far it's the best and most affordable bolt action pen, as a tac pen, it does and job great as well. The only issue I ran into was the tip cap coming loose. Had to put a dab of loctite on the treads to keep it from risking falling off and getting lost.
Don S.
I would like a pen in this style made of all steel.
Carl R.
Worth the wait, & now my favorite EDC pen. Very comfortable to write with, solidly built, but not aggressive looking.
Thanks!!
Gailan A.
The best tactical pen so far
Keith H.
It's a quality pen
Daniel S.
It’s simple and easy to use its light weigh and comfortable in my hand. Feels like a normal pen. So much so I sometimes forget it’s my tactical pen. Love it ty.
William B M.
Lighter, smaller, and looks more like a regular pen vs. the SWAT pen I already own. Also uses the same ink. Would recommend.
Vincent c.
Practical and discreet
Urban M.
The pen is great. I own several other self defense pens and this one is the best. It looks and feels like a regular pen. It’s light weight and blends in with regular pens.
Jerry S.
Love the pen. I've been through TSA with all of the Atomic Bear pens but this one is worry-proof. I particularly like it that the pen mechanism doesn't involve take a top off and them worrying about where to put it. Some tactical pens don't have a good place to put the top while others have a screw type holder. I don't have to worry at all about the Stealth pen.
Brian G.
Wasn't sure what to expect due to being polymer but Pen feels great and seems very strong. I was a bit concerned about losing the rubber cap that covers the tungsten tip but it is on tight and hasn't come off once, I carry the pen in my rear pocket.
Jason B.
Very happy with the pen. Very well built. So much better than those tactical pens where you have to screw off the cap. Easy to use. The crenellations on the business end of the pen and very sharp and will do the business. Just be advised that if they are in your shirt pocket that they might damage the shirt.
Probably be better if the edges were not sharp but dull-would still serve its purpose as a force multiplier.
Very good product.
Steven S.
Great product. I like everything about it.
Micah O.
Great pen and GREAT customer service!!! Very responsive and a great team. I appreciated them answering all my questions as well.
Henry R.
Smooooth! Real smooth!
I love my Rebel Tactical Pen. But, have sweated a drop or two as I carry it into an airport. Fortunately... I still have it.
Will I worry about that with my Stealth Pen Pro? Not at all. Looks perfectly like a pen. Cuz... it is! Did I mention the engaging mechanism is smooth? Writes great, easily engaged/retracted... like I said... smooth.
So ergonomic. Fits perfectly in your hand as you write. I also like the very secure cap that covers the glass breaker tip. I won't be worrying about it being left behind in Boise. Knowing I can confidently carry this in my pocket, without getting raised eyebrows, cuz it's not suspect... just a pen, dude... makes me feel more relaxed carrying it. Plus, I can easily sign the dinner check when it comes my way. As always, Atomic Bear, quality product, at a reasonable price!
I didn't even mention the tactical (business) point. Why? Don't have to... it will get the job done of ruining someone's day, should that every happen (hope it doesn't). Well done, gang... well done.
Jerry S.
Great feeling pen! Actually writes great also. This is my new, full-time carry pen.
Bill A.
Unlike many Tactical Pens, the Stealth Pro sits in a pocket without pulling the pocket out of shape because of it's lighter weight. The premium cartridge, the Schmidt P900M, shows Atomic Bear expects you to actually use the pen, as a pen, not just something people think is cool to have. A huge upgrade imho.
Certainly an easy purchase choice.
Ed B.
Great pen. Light but tough. Tactical without looking like it. Great idea
William C.
Great pen that doesn't look like a self-defense pen. Not too big to be hard to use. Great EDC!
James D.
So far I love the Stealth Pen Pro. The features are just what I expect in a tac pen. The grip is very comfortable, bolt-action is smooth and defense tip is gnarly. I also have the Rebel. Both tac pens are solid. Nice addition to my EDC.
Tzach M.
A pen that writes well, good grip, perfect for self-defense...
I am very satisfied with the purchase and the quality
Donald M.
I have purchased a number of tactical pens over the years: some have flashlights, some have tools, some have a stylus at one end; some look sleek & stylish, some look bulky and badass. However, VERY few are actually good at being pens. Most all are made of aluminum, so they’re heavy. And most require that you unscrew or unsnap a cover to get to the pen point, and usually don’t even give you a place to put that cover you just pulled off. Worse, while some allow you to snap the cover onto the other end of the pen, that action totally destroys the balance of the pen, which makes writing a real pain.
This pen, however, is made of some kind of thick but lightweight plastic, so the weight factor is excellent. While those metal pens feel comfortingly heavy in your hand, they WILL NOT look good in a shirt pocket — trust me on that. This pen is the weight of a real-world pen.
And no unscrewing of pen covers: this pen has a neat little slider to pop out the pen point, which wouldn’t look out of place on a regular pen.
My ONLY concern — and it’s a small one — is about the glass breaker point: it’s the same as breakers on other tactical pens, to be sure; my concern is that it’s covered by a plastic cap that just snaps over the point, and that cover will probably go missing the first time it use it in the real world. But you can get replacement covers right on this site, so it’s really a minor quibble.
Summary (too late: sorry!) — this is an exciting tac pen that is actually a good, functional pen as well
BRADLEY M.
Really loving this pen. The action to deploy the pen is extremely smooth and enjoyable to do over and over. I like the glass breaker is hidden, but still accessible. It should be rarely used, so it's better that it's not so prominent. No one thinks twice about my pen, even though the prongs and a little self-defense knowhow make it quite a deterrent. Most are pretty impressed. This is my 3 tactical pen and a few I have purposely not purchased. This is easily the best pen I've owned.
I've not tried lots of ink replacements, but I do wish this was a little more consistent. When it writes, it is smooth, but it doesn't always work right away when first used.
bailey.brian.k@icloud.com B.
Great product so fart still testing it.
James L.
Pen not yet arrived
James B.
Another great addition to my EDC items. This is a great pen!
Mark S.
Great light weight, below the radar design.
Rich C.
The only problem I see with it is the clasp still can be a bit tight on shirt pockets. I tried to spread it a bit but to no avail. I decided to carry it in my briefcase rather than tear another shirt pocket. The pen is still great!
ke4jsx@yahoo.com B.
Really like the click action. No more separating the barrel with 2 hands.
Tim S.
Glass breaker really does work. Love the bolt action. It's a little bigger than I expected but feels light.
Kevin F.
This tactical pen is great and delivers in every way promised in the advertising. It’s incredibly strong, and you would have a hard time breaking it. It is comfortable to hold either in “tactical” use or to write with, and it does write extremely well. The clip is very strong, so you don’t have to worry about it breaking, and it will definitely hold the pen in your pocket no matter how active you are. If I have one reservation, it’s that the “teeth” on the striking end are very sharp. If you really struck someone with them, they would probably almost penetrate like a knife. They also make it hard to put in a pocket because they are so sharp they keep catching material all the way in. I get why they are there, but they could be a little less sharp. They window breaker addition is very good and would definitely shatter any tempered glass. I definitely recommend this item.
VINCENT M.
Best Tactical Pen out there. I love it and it looks cool!
Richard G.
All-write!..
Easy to handle, easy to switch to a more utilitarian form--easy . All three go with me when I step into the world at large.
Peter C.
Only issue I have is getting the rubber cap off of the glass breaker. You have to use a shirt or something, in a high stress situation with wet sweaty/hands your not getting that thing off in time.
John W.
This is an Excellent defense pen. I personally find it a bit fat or thick for writing for my taste.
Richard G.
Appearances can be deceiving, and that is great for carrying a useful tool that does many things, including writing both on land or under water if it is ever needed underwater. Being made of plastic solves a 'security' issue and provides a useful tool.
Atomic Bear continues to innovate and drags along the imitators.
