The cap was really difficult to remove for the glass breaker when I first got it, but now it’s perfect. The pen is awesome! I did swap the ink for the fisher space pen fine black ink, which is way better. Overall, perfect for me.

I wanted to add the dummy end to the butt of the pen and when I tried to use the tool to unscrew the glass breaker the wire around it bent. the extra practice butt did not fit then I had to bend the wire back to holder the butt of glass breaker and now must have pliers to squeeze it back on if I take it off.

Just now received my pen pro. I am planning to carry it with me on my motorcycle rides. There’s a lot road rage out there with other drivers. A person never knows when an incident will occur. Along with the pen, I also carry pepper spray. With both of these safety items I will be able to defend myself if necessary. I am also a retired health care provider, and have had emergency medical training along with vehicle extraction training. The glass breaking feature is a bonus tool to have. Plus having a writing tool is very useful, I always am looking for pen to write with when I am riding. This pen is really cool.

Absolutely love the Guardian Titanium pen! I already owned the original which went with me on all my assignments, but the titanium version now goes with me on all my assignments, which require me to be in business attire. One thing I notice is that the action on the pen is much smoother on the titanium pen, and it writes beautifully. It also provides nice peace of mind to know that I am able to carry an essentially indestructible weapon in non-persmissive environments.
Highly recommend this pen if you appreciate tactical pens as much as I do, and rely on a solid writing tool for your work.

The guardian pen is a beautiful writing machine. I never had such a smooth pen. The design is sleek and elegant. I did have a problem with the glass breaker cover not being able to remove it, but I contacted the customer service department and they were right on it sending me a new cover. Great customer service. I would highly recommend this pen. Treat yourself you won’t regret it. Thank you Atomic bear for your great product.

The product is astounding in many aspects overall, thank you for devising it! IMHO it outpaces many concurrent products say as actively touted by 5.11 Nitecore, which is essentially yielding points to AB. The only flaw I wish to complain about is the glass-breaker cap system, IMHO it was made clumsy, excessively tight, I think it would be more practical to set it onto coarse threading instead of the blatant clamping as such.

It arrived today, it doesn’t look like high grade titanium even though it looks strong.
But most importantly, the cap cannot be open, no matter how hard I “twist and pull” at the same time, even with a clothes on it, my fingers now red and hurt. Pls advise urgently. I don’t want to make a scratch on it or break it!
Secondly, it is so hard to change ink, and even if I can remember how to do it, I don’t think most customers will remember where they put those small tools required to open the pen when it needs to change ink.
Thirdly, it was made in China instead of USA as misleads by written “ship from USA”.
I cannot type anymore because my fingers hurt!

I still have to learn more about using it. I have always considered a pen a fast and easy self defense weapon, although purchasing one for that purpose I had never considered. I love the way that it writes and even more so that it’s compatible with Fischer space pen ink. It would be a real upgrade to have waterproof ink. Having 2 Fischer space pens, I obviously am a fan of the way that they write. As far as the other functions, I can only hope that I have the pen on hand if my car should go into the water. It would be nice if it had some built in action so that you could press a button and not rely on physical force, which would be impeded under water. I love that there’s a fidget cap, whether that was intentional or not. I also think that the idea of a DNA catcher is great, although with today’s DNA technology, any pen that one used to injure someone would come back with usable DNA. The extra bite that this pen has would hurt more and cause more damage and make the DNA process easier, I’m sure. I think that the grip is great if you needed this for self defense as with a better grip your strike will do more damage and if there was bleeding an ordinary pen would slip through your hands.

Overall a fantastic product. Well-made, fit for its purpose(s). It’s hard to find a solid tactical pen that can function as a day-to-day writing tool without sacrificing form in some capacity (skinnier to be more “pen-shaped,” fatter/more ridged to be more “tactical,” etc. The more blunted points on the front are also WAY more suited to edc and having a pen around people than the original plastic/aluminum (still well-made) Atomic Bear pen, because they’re not sharp points. That’s the main reason I stopped carrying the original, even though I have two of those. Now it is pricey, which is a con, especially in this market where you can get a good pen for a way lower price, but that’s actually not my main gripe with this pen. No, the main issue with it is the same as so many other tactical pens. People, STOP PUTTING GLASS BREAKERS ON EVERY PEN. For starters, the mechanism to get the cap off this one is a pain to work in (literally, it’s a super-tight friction-fit). Second, and this goes for all the tac-pens that don’t double as rescue-oriented multi-tools, you don’t need a glass breaker for it to be a “tactical” pen. If you’re going to put a glass-breaker on it, might as well put a seatbelt cutter on it. At least this glass breaker can come off if you know you need to go through a checkpoint or something. But having a glass-breaker on this pen (and the original) ruins the point of having a tactical pen in the first place, which is to have a potential defensive tool that can be on or around your person at ALL times. All in all, if you don’t mind the glass breaker thing (or even if you do), this is a great pen, just, agghhh.

The Guardian Titanium pen is the nicest pen I have ever used! The pen feels extremely sturdy and feels light which is awesome! The pen looks incredible, it really does look and feel like a work of art. I love writing with it, it's extremely smooth, I constantly find myself writing just to write because of how nice this pen feels. The bolt action mechanism is so addicting, as someone who loves to fidget, I can't get enough of it. I hope I never have to use it for the other purpose but having this pen on me gives me a peace of mind knowing that, god forbid, if things go south I'll have something to defend myself with. I love my Guardian Titanium and carry it around with me daily.

I've been collecting tactical pens for many years and I have to say the Guardian is absolutely the best one I've ever had!
I have lots of tactical pens with a look and feel of an ICBM, but from a writing point of view they are totally useless. The Guardian is very different from those, it is very pleasant to write with and also to look at.
Luckily I don't have any experience from using any of my pens for self defence, but I'm quite confident the Guardian would give me all the advantage I can possibly get from a tactical pen.

Beautify looking design. Comfortable feel and nice weight/balance when writing. The bolt action lever is fun to fidget with on calls/meetings. The cap for the glass breaker is on tight enough as to not fall off during daily use, but easy to get off in an emergency. This is an excellent titanium tactical pen! As soon as these became available to order, I ordered two. I own many tactical pens, and these are two of my favorites.
I had a slight issue on one the pens. The tungsten carbide glass breaker was chipped. I let Jeff know and he had a replacement glass breaker shipped to me immediately. Jeff at Atomic Bear stands behind his products 100 percent and will take care of any issues that might arise.
