Very hard to get the cap off.

My first pen was a gift. I was pleasantly surprised as both a potential self-defense tool and as a writing instrument. I am very impressed. I was so impressed I purchased a second pen and (once blue is available) I will purchase a third, as well as, others as Christmas gifts to others.

Finally a practical use tactical pen that is highly useful and practical

Unfortunately I lost my original due to a loose pocket. Love this pen and it gives me a sense of security when out and about. Had to have another! So bought some for my adult children too.

Son is a loader on an Abrams and I saw this pen looked as though it was built like a tank so I figured it’d be a good pen for him to have!

Overall this is a good product. It's looks nice, feels durable, and the glass breaker rubber cap stays on much better than I was expecting. That said i have 2 problems with it, both relating to the pens tip. 1. I carry this pen in the same pocket I keep my phone, and those DNA catcher spike things on the tip of the pen have been scratching up my phone case. Not a deal breaker but its irritating. I would have liked it if you guys sold a version of the tip without those spikes. As that would 1: solve the problem I have with it, 2: make the pen look even more discrete. And 3: offer more customizability for users. 2. My second problem is at some point while it was sitting in my pocket, the tip somehow inthreaded itself. With the tip, spring, and ink cartridge bouncing around my pocket for a bit before I noticed. Granted it only happened once so far, but maybe changing/adding something to the design that makes the threads more secure when tightened would be good. Would have given 5 stars if not for those issues.

I purchased this for my niece who is beginning grad school in West Orange N.J. I have one and use and carry it all the time. I figured a something with "teeth" is nice to carry with her.

Great tool. Gave it to my nephew for his 17th birthday. It's sharp without being a blade so can't be banned. Encourage him to carry it for self defense when walking home from school ( his high school is scary)

Excellent pen! I love it! It's the color of my Tacoma and the pen screams quality! I needed to replace an old tac pen that broke on me. it was one of those black metallic ones. Lasted a while, but was disappointed that it broke. I then went on the search for a better alternative, and here we are! Atomic Bear is awesome! Thank you!

Love the pen, 2nd one I've bought. Only wish that they have more replacement parts... Needed a new pocket clip, only option was to buy a new pen. They did give me a discount for the new pen, greatful for that but would be nice to have the option of just buying a new clip. Only other downside I had was my old pen (same color and brand) had all the blue wear off so it looked like a normal black option. Plus the cap (over the window tip) would fall off and almost got lost. You can buy replacements for that though. All in I love this pen, love that I can carry this everywhere and it is "just a pen". I like the bolt action, and the quick direct feedback when it locks into place for writing. Safe to say this will be my go to EDC pen for a long time to come.

As a self defense instructor for civilians I always get questions regarding the carrying of weapons for protection. Our society is becoming increasingly litigious and the powers to be are becoming more restrictive regarding what we can carry EDC. I am a firm believer one should carry an equalizer. My research led me to the tactical pen. Most of the ones I came across were made out of airplane aluminum and looked very weapon like. In addition they were unwieldy. I kept searching for an acceptable EDC and came across your Stealth Pen Pro. This pen met all my requirements for an EDC self defense tool. It is not too weaponized looking, it is made of a light weight material, it fits well in your hands, and most of all it writes. I recommend this piece to my students and I appreciate the colors available. Highly recommended.

It's a really nice hard-use work pen. It feels great in the hand and writes great! The prongs on the pen do not interfere with writing at all! Please make a green one!

I ordered a pink stealth pro pen for my wife and a black stealth pro pen for myself. I also ordered accessories for these pens. I have only used these pens to write with so far. They write excellent. I have not used these pens in a self defense situation and have not broken any car windows yet. I have other tactical pens from other manufacturers. These other pens are heavier and not designed as well as the Stealth pro pen. I rate these pens 5 stars.

I have the luxury of owning both rebel and stealth pro pens, and must say they are as sturdy as they come. I have had other tactical pens before and must say Atomic bear tactical pens are some of the better made ones. The good and bad about both pens. Rebel is very professional and sleek looking. And for someone who doesnt wear a jacket (too hot) nor carry a briefcase/bag everyday to work and back, i often clip the rebel pen in my back pocket and there a few times it slipped out of my pocket due to the relatively loose pen clip. The stealth pen pro was the one i recently bought and appears to not have that issue. the clip is relatively tight and does not fall out of the back pocket easily. This will make EDC for me alot easier with this pen. the pen cap (silicon) seems sturdy enough and should not have an issue with dropping off without one noticing. Other than that, these are both great pens and cant wait to bring them around where i go.

Also when bringing though security check points put in bag/backpack pen compartment pouch with notes pads and other pens beside each other. Worked every time never got confiscated or stopped. The color pens can also help for when you do go into a situation that needed force. The authorities searching you will just think it is a promo pen from a convention or business. Instead of a black tactical looking pen. A friend borrowed a pen from me and never looked twice as the polymer body and light weight never crossed their minds.

The Best Tactical Pen on the market. It looks like a regular pen - not like a bayonet, which is essential. Great ergonomic design. The pen writes very well (easy to obtain quality refills).

The pen is very sturdy in its design and really looks like a normal ballpoint pen. I like that because it's not supposed to look really dangerous. I ordered the pen in blue. Unfortunately, the color is more petrol than navy blue. So I'm going to give it to my nephew and order a different color for myself. All in all, a highly recommended item.

Just got the blue version of Stealth Pen Pro. I'd buy it again just for the writing experience! Good heft and shape to hold while writing. Writes super smooth. Clip is super strong keeping it securely in place when carrying. Design of this pen is fantastic for its intended use! Nothing to complain about.

I’ve bought several of these pens and given them to girlfriends who are either afraid of weapons or live in states where it’s difficult for them to carry a weapon. They make great gifts and my friends feel much safer.

Let’s be honest this is an expensive pen. I was nervous about spending this much money on a pen for work. I am a corrections officer and I needed a good quality pen. After receiving the pens I can say I absolutely love everything about them. The weight and size is perfect. It writes extremely well and doesn’t smear. The attached pocket clip is very strong so I don’t worry about losing it and the entire pen is what we call “a weapon of opportunity” should I ever need it. I ordered a Tan one and a OD green one and I definitely don’t regret my purchase. I will continue to be a customer

I like that I can always have this "pen" with me, it doesn't take up any room since I only carry a small purse. It has multiple uses and is easy to use for protection. I hope I only ever have to use the pen, but I am confident if I need it for protection

This is definitely my EDC pen nestled up to my smaller edc "pocket protector ". Excellent grip, cover cap is easy to flip off in a hurry. Love the serrated pen tip. Watch out if you wear short pocketed shirts. Don't want to tear a hole in the bottom of the pocket. Feels so good in a striking grip. Really appreciate your attention to quality and detail. Thanks

I love how simple it is and easy it is to use. No fumbling with my job I have to be able to do things without using my eyes. I practice using and operating the pen at night. And it has come part of me now. Ty so much.

I bought one of these for myself previously. I am old and and not permanently attached to my phone...prefer my laptop, but the site would not allow input on my computer before. So this review covers two pens. What I like the most about this one is the single handed operation without having to remove a cap. I do own three other pens (two different models) by Atomic Bear, which I like a lot. I rotate which one I carry based on what type of shirt I'm wearing, if I'm wearing gloves at work, etc. The SECOND thing I like most about this pen is my wife's reaction to it. She had a"yeah whatever" tolerance of my previous pens. This pen? She actually asked me, first, if this pen came in different colors (What? Interest?), then asked if I would order the blue one for her! This review is actually for her blue pen. Thank you for promoting marital harmony and security. ;)

I keep one of these in my pocket at all times, one in my vehicle and one in my EDC bag. Makes me feel less "naked" in places where carrying other "tools" is frowned upon. Everyone needs at least one of these!

I’ve edc-ed tons of tactical pens. This is by far the best combo of sturdiness, practicality, and functionality. The colored versions are even more “under the radar”. I never leave home without mine!

Solid pen, nice contours. Neither Wife nor I have had to use. It feels real in my hand, and I don't anticipate it breaking no matter what's going down.

I have been really happy to buy the Stealth pen pro navy. It is a good pen for writing and a good tool for self defense. With its navy color, this pen is really discreet and I could bring it everywhere without any problem.
